Patch tests allergologiques are accomplished according to the technology of the prick, which consists in making a small superficial injection, with a lancet with which end is provided with a very small top, across a drop of the allergen beforehand deposited on the skin. They are practically painless and draw away at most a feeling of prickle. These tests make run no danger to the child, because the quantity of allergen injected under the skin is trifling, calculated in order to draw away only a simple local reaction.
