To know about it more

The European regulation on residues of pesticides in food for baby was adopted in 1999 and will come into force in the ler July, 2002. The producers apply, since 1997, recommendations of the High Council of public hygiene of France (CSHPF) taking note due to the fact that the possibility of a bigger sensitivity in toxins of the new-born babies and of the juvenile children seems established (report of October 8th, 1996).

France changed the regulation texts concerning these substances the last year, by pointing out, notably, that baby food has not to contain residues of different pesticides [] in the upper proportions in 0,01 mg / kg in the product such as consummate.

These borders, valid for all the pesticides, are lower from 10 to 1000 times than those demanded for the common food. For example, the maximum quantities allowed in apples and cool pears go of 100 1lg for 100 g for the amitraze to 1000 ~g for 100 g for the iprodione, while these contents are less than 1 1lg for 100 g in the small pots.
